Who we are

This website is the author site for Eric Kent Edstrom. The site address is https://www.ericedstrom.com.

What we collect

This is a static site. It does not use WordPress comments, accounts, or Jetpack.

Email list. Newsletter and free-book forms are provided by Kit (formerly ConvertKit). When you subscribe, Kit collects the information you submit (typically your email address and, on some forms, your first name) in order to send the download or emails you requested. Kit’s privacy policy is on their website. Every email includes an unsubscribe link. I do not sell or share the list.

Affiliate links. Some book links go to Amazon and may be affiliate links. If you buy through those links, I may earn a small commission. Amazon may collect data according to their own privacy policy.

Embedded services. Kit forms and outbound retailer pages may set cookies or collect analytics as described by those services.

Server logs. The host (Cloudflare Pages, once this site is live there) may retain standard request logs such as IP address, user agent, and the page requested.

Cookies

Kit embeds and affiliate destinations may set cookies. You can control cookies in your browser settings.

How long we keep data

Kit retains subscriber records until you unsubscribe or I delete the account. Hosting logs follow the host’s retention policy.
